The Team

We’re an adult social care team serving citizens of Essex, aiming to maximise choice and control over how people live their lives. We work with people aged 18 and above across all specialisms, undertaking duties under the Care Act 2014 including assessment, reviews, mental capacity assessments and adult safeguarding. Hybrid working is offered with an expectation to be office-based at Fairycroft in Saffron Walden around 2 days per week based on business need for collaboration and training.

* Ensure Compliance: Support people to live fulfilling lives within the framework of the Care Act, relevant legislation and organisational standards.
* Manage Caseloads: Provide expert social work practice in complex situations, upholding high professional standards.
* Collaborate: Build strong relationships across the Council and with partners to shape high-quality solutions that promote independence.
