Our client, a leading law firm in East Anglia, has an exceptional Commercial Property Team handles a wide spectrum of matters involving commercial real estate—from acquisition and financing to the ongoing management and occupation of properties.
They work with and represent a diverse client base ranging from major national firms to smaller, locally based businesses.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Solicitor or Associate to join this Commercial Property Team. This role offers the chance to work on a broad range of commercial property transactions and advisory work, supporting our varied client base.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Handling acquisitions and disposals of both freehold and leasehold interests
* Drafting and negotiating leases and renewals
* Advising on licenses, options, borrowing, and secured lending
* Supporting corporate transactions and small business property matters
* Lease agreements (pre-letting, new build, and existing properties)
* Lease renewals and terminations
* Property management, including dilapidations, rent reviews, assignments, subletting, and alterations
Requirements
* Ideally 2–5 years’ PQE (or equivalent)
* Ability to handle a mixed Commercial Property caseload with minimal support
* Well driven and ambitious individual
* Readiness to engage in business development to help grow the team
Benefits
* Salary of £50,000-70,000 depending on experience
