Lead Payroll Specialist - £29,000 to £34,000 DOE We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to take ownership of end-to-end payroll processing across six companies in a well-known construction company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong payroll background and excellent attention to detail to play a key role in a busy and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and assist with payroll processing for six companies Collect and analyse weekly timesheets Process timesheets and wages using Sage Payroll Calculate statutory payments including holiday pay, SSP, SPP, etc. Manage BACS payment processing Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies Essential Criteria: Proven experience in a similar lead payroll role, managing all aspects of payroll Payroll qualifications or equivalent knowledge gained through experience Strong IT skills, including: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Ability to quickly learn financial and operational software Experience with Sage Payroll 50 (beneficial but not essential) Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central (beneficial but not essential) On Offer: Competitive salary between £29,000 and £34,000 depending on experience Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional development Onsite Parking Annual bonus scheme What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
