Contract: Maternity Cover (Full-Time)
Pay: MPS/UPS (Depending on Experience)

We are delighted to be working on behalf of a wonderful Ofsted-Outstanding junior school in Reading, who are seeking a Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025 on a maternity cover basis.

The Role:
As a Year 4 Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
* Track progress and adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of all learners
* Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to whole-school initiatives
* Uphold the school's strong safeguarding and behaviour policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
* A strong understanding of how children learn and how to differentiate effectively
* Excellent classroom practice and behaviour management
* A team-player attitude and commitment to school life
