Our Client We have partnered with a dynamic and growing organisation to appoint a Financial Accountant into their expanding finance team. The Role The Financial Accountant will manage day to day financial operations, including cash flow, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting. You will work closely with the Finance Manager, contributing to month-end routines, financial analysis, and compliance tasks, while gaining exposure to multiple areas of finance. This role offers opportunities to develop professionally and progress within the business. Main Duties Manage daily cash flow and bank postings, including multiple accounts and currencies Post purchase ledger invoices and process supplier payments Raise intercompany invoices and manage debt collection Reconcile vendor accounts and open new customer accounts with appropriate credit checks Process monthly payroll and submit relevant statutory filings Prepare daily sales reports and manage employee expense claims Perform month-end routines, bank reconciliations, and currency revaluations Maintain fixed assets, accruals, and prepayments Assist with draft trial balances, annual accounts, and audits Summarize VAT activity and coordinate submissions with external consultants Support continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function The Successful Candidate Degree or relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (or working toward one) Previous experience in finance, accounting, or administrative roles is advantageous Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office; familiarity with accounting software is a plus Good understanding of accounting principles and processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, reliable, and self-motivated Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What’s on Offer? £35,000-£45,000 Hybrid working Opportunities for professional development and career progression Exposure to multiple areas of finance in a supportive environment Our Commitment to Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion We believe that diverse teams drive innovation and success.
