About the Role
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary Teachers across all subject specialisms to work with secondary schools throughout Great Yarmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators who are committed to delivering high‑quality teaching and making a positive impact on young people’s education.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students, while maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment. This role is ideal for adaptable teachers who enjoy working in a variety of school settings and contributing to thriving school communities.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the secondary curriculum and exam specifications
Assess, track, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
Manage classroom behaviour effectively in accordance with school policies
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs, abilities, and learning styles of all students
Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues
Contribute to departmental and whole‑school initiatives
Engage in continuous professional development
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
Strong subject knowledge in your specialist area
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Confidence teaching students aged 11–16 (KS3–KS4; KS5 desirable but not essential)
Ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one), ideally registered on the DBS Update Service

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
