Location
Wrexham office, covering sites around South Shropshire, Hereford and surrounding areas with a site office in Ludlow. Typically working Monday to Friday, 39 hours.
Role Overview
As a Contracts Manager for Novus, you will see the impact of your work on customers and the team every day. This varied role offers an opportunity to lead a skilled team in a secure environment with long‑term contracts and to grow professionally. You will lead a small team of Site Managers/Contract Liaison Officers and deliver voids and retrofit refurbishment works in Social Housing, ensuring contracts are completed on programme, within budget, with zero defects and no health & safety risk.

Responsibilities
* Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including sub‑contractors, as required by contract.
* Oversee site personnel, work activities and resources to meet contract requirements.
* Control individual contract progress, ensuring completion within time frames and budget.
* Ensure all contract documentation and reports are accurate and produced on time.
* Attend monthly client meetings to review performance and future planning.
* Support on preparation, processing and selection of estimates, bids and tenders and the development of the procurement programme under the Operations Manager.
* Assist in presenting the contract brief to the client.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record of working within voids or planned works contracts in a social housing environment. You should hold SMSTS and 3‑day First Aid, or be willing to renew them. You will be a self‑starter, focused on delivery and able to communicate effectively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations. A full UK driving licence is required to travel to sites daily. The role is subject to a DBS check.
