Anderson Knight are seeking a Financial Controller to join our client, a leading, manufacturing group. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining strong financial control, ensuring compliance across group entities, and delivering accurate, insightful financial reporting to support strategic decision-making. You’ll work closely with the Finance Director and senior leadership team to help shape the future of the business. This is a visible and influential position, with the opportunity to lead and develop a small finance team while building strong relationships across the organisation. Key Responsibilities * Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance, and VAT returns * Lead the annual audit process across all group entities * Ensure robust financial governance and ethical standards * Lead, mentor and develop a small, high-performing finance team * Support investment decisions with pre- and post-appraisal analysis * Deliver regular and ad-hoc financial forecasts and scenario modelling * Drive efficiency through insightful reporting and process improvement * Produce monthly management accounts and board reporting packs * Lead the annual budgeting process and twice-yearly forecasting cycles * Monitor and report weekly cash flow and ensure strong liquidity * Maintain strong working relationships with auditors and banking partners * Provide financial insight to board and senior management meetings About You * Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CA/CIMA) * Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills * Comfortable in a fast-moving, change-oriented environment * Ability to challenge and implement positive change In return is the opportunity to be involved in a key leadership role within a values-driven, growing business with opportunities for progression and personal development.
