Salary: £20,702 (pro rata of £27,868)

Contract type: Fixed term / Working hours: Part time

Location: DWT Urban Wildlife Centre, Beacon Hill Lane, Off Old Wareham Road, Corfe Mullen, Poole, Dorset, BH21 3RX

We have an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our passion for inspiring and facilitating people to take action for nature within their own communities.

We are looking for a new member of our Wilder Communities Team to manage our Living Churchyards project and provide key support for our Wildlife-friendly Spaces initiative.

This role will also include delivering nature-based activities, training and resources that connect people with their natural environment, managing skilled volunteers, creating impactful content for a range of media and providing administrative support to the team.

The role will be varied so we are looking for flexibility and great organisational skills as well as real enthusiasm to help people act for the ecological and climate crisis.

If you enjoy working in a small, friendly and supportive team environment, have a confident, personable nature, are passionate and knowledgeable about wildlife, experienced in working with the public and would like to be a part of a highly successful Conservation Charity, we would love to hear from you!
