Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £31,650 (MPS1) – £49,084 (UPS3) – Depending on experience
New Directions are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Dover who are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join their successful department. The role is suitable for specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, and offers the opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 depending on experience and subject area.
The school has a strong commitment to STEM education and is equipped with modern science labs, excellent resources, and a supportive leadership team focused on staff development and student success.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
1. QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
2. Recent experience as a science teacher
3. A strong subject knowledge in at least one science discipline
4. The ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students
5. A commitment to creating a positive learning environment and raising achievement
