Are you all about putting people first and giving them the highest standards of service? We’re looking for a Holidays Assistant Manager who can help to make sure that everyone has their best possible holiday with the National Trust.
You'll work 30 hours over 4 days, typically Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday with occasional Saturdays.
What it's like to work here
Supervising and leading the housekeeping team, you'll be working as part of a team that manages holiday cottages across Sheringham, Felbrigg, and Blickling.
Sometimes you’ll be working at a desk but a large proportion of time will be out and about visiting holiday cottages and other sites, some of which may be remote.
You'll work closely with both local and wider Holiday Operations teams, sharing best practices and ensuring consistent standards for our guests are maintained at all times.

What you'll be doing
Your focus will be on giving great service to everyone who chooses to stay.
You'll work with both local and wider teams to ensure we're being consistent and keeping standards high everywhere. You'll be co-ordinating rotas with bookings, organising changeovers and efficiently managing stock working alongside the Holidays Manager to ensure budgets are maintained.
Beyond day-to-day operations, you’ll also support our Holidays Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members, helping to build a strong, knowledgeable team.
There’s also an ongoing focus on compliance, so you’ll assist in keeping everything up to date.
Who we're looking for
We'd love to hear from you if you’re:
1. someone with practical operational experience in a holiday business
2. good at talking to, and getting on with, all kinds of people
3. used to achieving high standards of housekeeping, presentation and maintenance
4. able to supervise and support others in your team
5. confident with Microsoft Office
6. familiar with health and safety procedures and compliance, and writing risk assessments
