Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner with Level 3 qualification for a position within a brand-new, school-based Nursery within the heart of Winchester!

What Does the Role Entail?
As a key member of our nursery team, you will help create a caring, engaging, and enriching environment for children aged 3 and 4. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting Learning and Development: Foster children's growth through purposeful play, exploration, and adult-led activities.
* Encouraging Social Skills: Help young learners develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
* Establishing Routines: Create clear routines that promote a calm and supportive atmosphere.
* Planning and Delivering Activities: Collaborate with the nursery lead to design activities that align with the EYFS curriculum.
* Observing and Assessing: Monitor and record children's progress, contributing to their assessments.
* Supporting Additional Needs: Provide extra support to children with additional needs as required.
* Ensuring Well-being: Assist with personal care and ensure the well-being of all children at all times.
What Do You Need for This Position?
* Qualifications: A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential).
* Experience: Previous experience in an early-years setting, particularly with 3–4-year-olds.
* Passion: A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Approach: A caring, patient, and enthusiastic demeanour, with a good sense of humour.
* Knowledge: A clear understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
* Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Good English, Maths, and IT skills.
