JOB LOCATION: Corran Esplanade, Oban PA34
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our establishment. Your attention to detail and hospitality skills will contribute to creating a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests.
HOUSEKEEPER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Perform cleaning duties to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
* Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, shower, and toilet, ensuring they meet hotel standards for cleanliness and presentation.
* Change bed linens, towels, and other guest room supplies, ensuring a sufficient and fresh supply is available for incoming guests.
* Perform thorough inspections to ensure that rooms meet established cleanliness standards before guest arrival.
* Report any maintenance issues, damages, or required repairs in guest rooms to the maintenance department and hotel manager.
* Replenish guest room amenities, toiletries, and cleaning supplies as needed.
* Follow all safety and health regulations to provide a safe and hygienic environment for guests and fellow staff members.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* A real passion for housekeeping and a fine eye for detail.
* Knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment, and chemicals used in housekeeping.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Strong organisational and clear communication skills.
* An impeccable presentation.
* An outstanding can-do attitude and the desire to work as a member of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: Up to £13.21 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Oban PA34: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
