Job Title: Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (SEMH) Location: Eccles, Salford Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract Type: Term-time only / Full-time About the Role We are seeking a compassionate, patient and dedicated individual to join our specialist school supporting students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with pupils within the classroom, providing educational and emotional support to help them achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities. Assist students with a range of social, emotional and mental health needs. Promote positive behaviour and encourage confidence and independence. Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team to create a safe, engaging learning environment. Maintain records and report on pupil progress when required. Skills and Requirements Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs (desirable). A good understanding of social and emotional needs in an educational setting. Positive, empathetic attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
