Band 7 Sonographer Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospital NHS Trust. As a Sonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. Your primary focus will be on obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and detailed assessments. Position : Sonographer Banding : 7 Location : North England Hours : Full-time Rate : £50.00 p/h Days : Monday to Friday Hours : 08:00am – 18:00pm Duration : Ongoing – Full time Responsibilities: Perform obstetric ultrasound scans using state-of-the-art equipment. Assess fetal development, monitor pregnancies, and detect any abnormalities. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret scan results. Maintain accurate records and ensure patient confidentiality. Provide compassionate care and excellent communication to patients during the scanning process. Requirements: Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or equivalent. Certification in Obstetric Ultrasound. Proficiency in using ultrasound machines and associated software.
