We’re looking for people to set up an Action Squad in Omagh & Fermanagh surrounding area and hold fundraising events to support our Early Intervention Family Support Service

Action For Children (Early Intervention Family Support Service) Omagh and Fermanagh
We aim to help children and their families work together at an early stage to explore solutions and prevent more long term problems from arising.
We will always put the needs and safety of children and young people above everything else. We believe that parents, carers and families should help to shape the work that we do and we will always listen to and respect their views and ideas.
The project will work with children 0-17yrs and their families.
The project hopes to achieve better outcomes for children and young people through:
Building on the strengths of families
Promoting parenting skills Increasing parents ability to nurture successfully
Developing the resilience of children and young people
Enabling families to use community resources and facilities
Action For Children Northern Ireland helps the most vulnerable children and young people in Northern Ireland break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so they can achieve their full potential. We tailor our work to local circumstances, in partnership with children and young people, families, communities and local organisations.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Plan and organise your own fundraising events, with the support of Action for Children’s professional Fundraising Managers.
* Get involved in big Action for Children events like our Christmas fundraiser, Secret Santa.
* Volunteer at events, like the Belfast Marathon, Antrim Coast Marathon, Enniskillen 10k, Waterside half Marathon, Boycott your Bed, to name a few.
* Give talks about our work and support our campaigns and help advocate our work within the community
Flexible - hours are based on your availability and other factors
