Pulse Nursing is seeking a skilled Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Kingston. Position: Mental Health Nurse (Band 5)
Location: Acute Hospital, Kingston
Pay Rate: £18.00 – £22.00 per hour
Contract Type: Flexible (Full-time and Part-time options available)
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver compassionate and effective care to patients with acute mental health conditions.
* Assess, plan, and implement individual care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions to patients and their families.
* Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of patients through proactive risk management.
Requirements:
* Valid NMC registration as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN).
* Proven experience in acute mental health settings.
* At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the mental health sector
* Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to manage complex care needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Completed PMVA training or willing to attend a 3-day course
* Right to work within the UK – proof will be required
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
