The Network Support Technician will assist the Network Manager in delivering high-quality IT services to the entire school. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT equipment and systems, ensuring smooth technology operations to support teaching and learning.
Location: Prince Henry's High School
Job Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
* Carry out all duties allocated in an effective manner and liaise closely with the Network Manager.
* Liaise with staff and students regarding IT services.
* Attend necessary courses for duty performance.
Duties:
* Support the network manager in delivering IT services.
* Install and maintain computers, printers, projectors, and other IT equipment.
* Install, update, and troubleshoot software and hardware.
* Prepare and test software installation packages.
* Conduct daily checks of key technology and monitor stock levels.
* Assist with user account management and technical support for staff and students.
* Maintain records of IT equipment and manage backups.
* Respond to technical queries and faults promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Familiarity with Windows 11, Microsoft Office, and some experience with Microsoft Intune are desirable but not essential.
