We are seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our professional team and help safeguard our 400-acre campus and vibrant community. As a Security Officer, you will be a trusted and visible presence across the College, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a dynamic, people-focused role that combines vigilance with empathy, requiring swift responses to incidents while fostering positive relationships and promoting a culture of safety and respect. You will work closely with colleagues across Operations, Pastoral Care, and Academic teams, supporting major College events and responding effectively to emergencies. Working Hours: Our Security team operates 365 days a year, providing round-the-clock coverage. The role follows a structured shift pattern of 12-hour shifts: two days, two nights, followed by four days off, offering a balanced schedule and time for rest and recovery. What We're Looking For: We are looking for someone with professionalism, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure. Previous experience in security, HM Forces, or the Police is desirable, as is familiarity with fire detection systems, emergency procedures, and customer-facing roles in educational settings.
