Daytime Healthcare are assisting a national supported living organisation, who are looking for a Service Manager to join the team in Swaffham, Norfolk. This service is a brand new, person centred service which is under construction, which will consist of purpose built flats and bungalows and be home to 16 people who have learning disabilities and physical disabilities. The people we will be supporting there will be involved in the development of the service and project, making it a person centred service which is shaped by the people we support. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to be involved in the development and opening of this site, including building the staff team from the ground up, as well as the then day to day management of the service.
Responsibilities
 * Inspire and mentor your team to deliver person-centred, empowering support.
 * Use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Active Support to encourage independence.
 * Manage all operational aspects of rotas, safeguarding, compliance, and support planning.
 * Build strong, positive relationships with families, advocates, and local services.
 * Previous experience as a Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Team Leader or experienced Senior Support Workers will be considered.
 * Experience in leading teams within Health & Social Care.
 * A genuine desire to create a brand new service with a positive attitude.
 * Experience with setting up a new service is highly desirable but not essential to be considered.
 * (Ideally) a Level 3-5 Health & Social Care qualification, or the drive to achieve it.
