We are seeking an exceptional candidate for the role of Head of Finance to join our Strategic Leadership Team (SLT). This is a key leadership role with responsibility for the overall financial management of the Charity and the effective leadership of the Finance team. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping the financial sustainability and strategic direction of Catholic Care, ensuring that our Finances are managed effectively to support our mission and values. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Charity s financial strategy, planning and reporting Provide strategic financial advice to the Chief Executive, Board and SLT Ensure robust financial controls, compliance and risk management processes are in place Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance monitoring Lead, support and develop the Finance team Contribute to the wider strategic development of the Charity Promote and uphold the values and ethos of Catholic Care in all areas of work About You We are looking for a motivated and values-driven finance professional who brings: A recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role (or someone looking to take the next step) Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills Experience of managing and developing teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities A commitment to the mission, values and ethos of Catholic Care Experience within the charity or social care sector is desirable but not essential.
