About the Role
We are recruiting a Fully Qualified MOT Tester to join our growing automotive workshop team. This is a dedicated MOT-only position, meaning no servicing, diagnostics, or mechanical repair work is required. The role is ideal for a detail-focused professional who values accuracy, compliance, and consistency in a structured, well-run workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Class 4 MOT inspections in strict accordance with DVSA regulations
* Ensure all MOT testing is completed accurately, efficiently, and professionally
* Maintain precise digital MOT records and documentation
* Ensure full compliance with DVSA standards, health & safety procedures, and audit requirements
* Communicate MOT results, advisories, and failures clearly with the service team
* Keep the MOT bay clean, organised, and inspection-ready at all times
About You
* Fully qualified MOT Tester with a valid DVSA MOT Licence
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to compliance and quality control
* Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach
* Confident working independently in a busy automotive workshop
* Previous experience in a dealership or independent garage is advantageous
* Full UK driving licence
