Senior Associate - Manchester City Centre - Perm
Salary: £30,000 to £38,000 (dependent on experience)
Working Hours:
* 5 days per week
* 7 hours per day (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including 1-hour lunch break)
Job Description
As a Senior Associate, you will:
* Prepare accounts, Corporation Tax computations and returns, VAT returns, and Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
* Handle bookkeeping and company secretarial duties
* Report to Client Managers and Partners
* Manage a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Individuals
* Work as part of a team of approximately 20 staff members
* Report overall to the Partners
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
* Excellent client communication and advisory skills
* Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation
* Familiarity with CCH is preferable but not essential
* Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage is required
