Our client in South Preston are looking for a Temporary to Permanent Office Administrator to work in the transport department of this busy manufacturing and installations company. You will be be working closely with the Transport lead and Operations team as well as the Sales Order Team. The client is looking for an applicant to join them after the Easter Period and you must be available immediately. Hours of work: 40 Hours per week 7.30 - 4 (1 Hour break) Responsibilities/Daily Duties: Working closely with the Transport Manager Receiving good delivery notes and documents of drivers and processing the work completed on the internal systems Liaising with the drivers regards work, deliveries to be undertaken Liaising with the Operations team and Sales Teams regarding the Transport requirements and booking in the jobs for work to be carried out Arranging for repairs and maintenance of vehicles Processing paperwork for vehicle maintenance or repair Support administration for any transport work Phoning external suppliers as well as internal department Assisting in the other departments - sales office, operations support Skills & Experience: Ideally Transport/Logistics experience Office Administration experience essential of over 12 months Organised and attention to detail Able to work in a team environment Accurate data inputting skills Confident communicator in person and on the phone Benefits 22 Holiday days plus bank holidays Car Parking & on local public transport route Pension scheme after qualifying period THIS ROLE IS BASED IN THE OFFICE 5 DAYS A WEEK We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
