Overview
SC CLEARANCE REQUIRED, 2 DAYS ONSITE IN TELFORD. This role forms part of a new scrum team within Minerva Platform to develop and deliver Ingestion and Risking within the SAS Platform including IDP. The role will design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and pipelines to support deployment and validation of analytics solutions on the SAS Viya 4 platform.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of an Agile team, participate in ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, retrospectives, demos and reporting.
* Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers and Business Analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements and technical specifications.
* Design and implement automation test strategies and plans for SAS Viya 4 applications (UI-based Visual Analytics and Intelligent Decisioning) and for integration testing of data pipelines.
* Develop and maintain test scripts using automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, JUnit) and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
* Define and maintain test data strategy; evolve the test automation suite for regression, performance, and integration testing.
* Support integration of test automation into Git-based CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test environments, including SAS Viya containerized deployments (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
* Contribute to test data management and environment provisioning strategies; ensure defect management and clear communication of results to stakeholders.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Experience with SAS Viya 4 platform and UI-based Visual Analytics and Intelligent Decisioning.
* Strong automation testing experience; knowledge of Selenium, PyTest, JUnit or equivalent.
* Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and Git workflows.
* Familiarity with containerized deployments (OpenShift, Kubernetes).
* Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage stakeholder relationships.
* SC clearance is required.
