Bramley & Stone are a leading Damp & Timber Preservation company specialising in the repair and restoration of period and heritage properties. We're looking for an experienced Assistant Technician to join our growing team, carrying out a variety of high-quality remedial works in customers' homes.
The Role
You'll be responsible for helping our technicians in delivering skilled property repairs as part of our damp-proofing and restoration projects. Typical work includes:
* Assisting with laying floor protection and preparing sites
* Assisting with mixing plaster, render and other wet materials
* Prepping works such as hacking off plaster, digging out ACO drains and other duties for our main technicians
* Assisting with other preservation works as required
Work is varied, interesting, and often within character period homes — attention to detail and respect for the property are essential.
Requirements
* Proven experience in plastering and general building repair and labouring
* Good understanding of property renovation standards
* Full UK driving licence
* Professional, reliable and takes pride in quality workmanship
* Willingness to travel across Hampshire, Dorset and Surrey
