Head of HSEQ - Permanent - Aberdeen - Excellent package This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's busiest ports as the new Head of Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Reporting to the CEO, the Head of HSEQ will develop and lead the Health, Safety, Environment and Quality strategy in delivery of Port's strategic plan. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role will provide leadership and direction to the SHEQ team in the implementation, management and evaluation of the integrated management system and will promote the continual improvement in the health, safety and environmental culture and performance of the port. Experience Required; Degree qualified in a relevant discipline along with NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. Member of Institute of Environmental Management Assessment (IEMA) / chartered member of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH). Previous experience in a Health, Safety or Environment leadership role, ideally within a port environment Solid understanding of health and safety legislation and its impact on the port An understanding of emerging policy frameworks, especially Marine planning. Previous involvement in acquisition of environmental licence and consents. Ability to influence all levels across the organisation and with key external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills and able to develop positive working relationships, both internally and externally.
