Civil Design Engineer – Multi-Disciplinary Design & Build Consultancy
Are you a Civil Engineer with a strong background in design and looking to take the next step in your career? Would you like to join a successful, growing multi-disciplinary consultancy working on complex and meaningful projects across sectors like Government, Defence, and Infrastructure? If so, we’d love to hear from you!
We’re currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team. Ideally, you’ll be based in commuting distance to Portsmouth, though we can also accommodate those who prefer to work from our Monmouth office and/or on a hybrid basis.
️ Deliver civil engineering design solutions for a wide variety of infrastructure and construction projects.
Produce technical reports, drawings, and calculations to meet client requirements and project specifications.
Support the timely delivery of projects within budget and to a high standard of quality.
️ Attend site visits, undertake condition surveys, and support feasibility assessments.
Liaise with multi-disciplinary colleagues and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
Experience & Qualifications:
* HNC/D or BEng in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
* 4+ years’ experience in civil engineering design.
* Proficient in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar.
* Experience with infrastructure or reinforced concrete design projects is considered.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Must have full right to work in the UK and be eligible for Security Clearance(SC) – not essential to start.
