* Our team of five geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists work together on a diverse range of strategic projects across the highways, water and energy sectors, giving you the chance to make a meaningful impact in the local area.
* You will be an Assistant Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist or Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist with a degree in civil engineering or geology/geoscience and a post graduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
A good academic background with a degree (ideally MSc or equivalent).
* Geotechnical design experience of structures, foundations and earthworks.
* A good understanding of ground investigation techniques.
* Proven site experience including ground investigation supervision, site walkover surveys/ geotechnical inspections.
* A valid UK driving license.
* Experience from working in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment.
* A desire to drive digital innovation and experience with software packages, e.g. QGIS, OpenGround, PowerBI.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients and engineers from other disciplines.
* Excellent report writing skills with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work.
* A willingness to travel on short assignments both within the UK and overseas.
* Working towards Chartered status.
