The Role
We’re looking for a Mid-Level PHP Developer with solid Laravel experience to help build, maintain, and enhance our internal systems and customer-facing platforms. You’ll be part of a small, agile team working closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver real value to the business.
This is a hands-on development role with exposure to both backend and front-end work (React or similar), ideal for someone ready to step up in responsibility while continuing to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain PHP applications using Laravel
* Contribute to the development of our bespoke CRM and web-based platforms
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, design, and deliver new features
* Integrate with AWS services for storage, compute, and scaling
* Assist in improving our CI/CD and deployment processes
* Write clean, maintainable code with good test coverage
* Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies
* Troubleshoot bugs and help improve system performance and reliability
What We’re Looking For
* 2–4 years of hands-on PHP development experience (Laravel preferred)
* Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL
* Familiarity with front-end development using React, Vue, or similar
* Working knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3 (or willingness to learn)
* Comfortable working in Git-based workflows
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to writing secure, scalable code
* A collaborative mindset and a willingness to learn from and support your team
Nice to Have
* Experience with Docker or other containerization tools
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.)
* Awareness of web application security and performance best practices
* Interest in product thinking and user experience
* Previous experience in regulated sectors (insurance, legal, financial services)
