Music Department
You’ll be teaching Music at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a department equipped with practice rooms, a recording studio, keyboards, and Apple Mac suites. There are opportunities to contribute to choirs, bands, ensembles, and public performances both locally and nationally.
Your Role
Teach a varied music curriculum including performance, composition, and theory; use music technology and practical ensemble work to engage learners; prepare students for GCSE Music; and support school concerts, productions, and enrichment activities. You’ll receive a tailored ECT support programme with weekly mentoring and regular peer observation.
Ideal Candidate
You are a passionate Musician, confident with both traditional and contemporary approaches, and on track to receive QTS by July 2025. You are collaborative, enthusiastic, and have a genuine desire to help students develop musical confidence and joy.
