Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations. Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes
Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability
Develop staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues promptly to enhance the dining experience
Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and presentation standards are met
Uphold hospitality standards by fostering a welcoming environment for guests and team members
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety policies
Experience
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive working environment
Familiarity with culinary processes, food production, and kitchen operations
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
Experience in managing budgets, inventory control, and operational planning
