Position: Metallurgical Laboratory Manager / Team Leader
Location: South Yorkshire
Sector: Metals testing
Salary: Negotiable according experience but likely to be in the £45,000 - £55,000 range
Hybrid: No, this is office based in South Yorkshire

The Role :
* Overseeing / managing a team of 3 Laboratory Technicians / Metallurgists / Materials Scientists
* Ensuring that all work is carried out according to instructions
* Ensuring that all health and safety requirements are adhered to
* Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and calibrated as required
* Ensuring that all reports are accurate and succinct, delivering all required information to stakeholders
* Personally carrying out testing and report writing as required as part of the team
* Recruitment, training and development of staff to ensure availability of skills
* Providing reports to the SLT on activity levels, costs etc
About You :
1. A Degree level qualification is essential. This MUST be in Metallurgy, Materials Science or very similar
