Procurement Analyst Location: Lathom, Nr Ormskirk Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experience WHO ARE WE? THE ROLE A vacancy has arisen for a Procurement Analyst who will provide data-driven insight, reporting and analytical support to Global Procurement teams. The main responsibilities will be: Data Analysis, Reporting & Financial Insight Gather, cleanse, integrate and analyse procurement data from multiple systems (e.g. SAP, SAC, Ariba, CIP, Business Warehouse, Excel). Produce regular and ad-hoc reports covering spend, category performance, KPIs, PPV analysis, savings, supplier performance and compliance. Create dashboards (Power BI, SAC), management reports and slide packs for category and leadership forums. Support spend forecasting and interpretation of variances and movements. Category & Market Support Provide analytical support to Category Directors and category teams for sourcing, tender analysis and strategy development. Conduct market analysis to support informed category decisions. Support supplier concentration, risk and performance insight activities. Co-ordinate central tasks and maintain SharePoint sites for category teams. Support with ad-hoc analysis requests and category-specific projects. Supplier, Systems & Sustainability Support reporting on supplier performance, sustainability and compliance. Work with Sustainability, Supplier Development and Centre of Excellence teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Competent in use of Procurement systems and ability to support category team with issues. Process Improvement & Data Governance Identify improvements to data quality, reporting efficiency and analytics. Support standardisation of reporting templates and dashboards. Ensure reporting meets governance, audit and deadline requirements. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? You and your Skills Degree educated in business, engineering, technical, analytical, or related discipline. Strong analytical capability with experience of handling large datasets. Attention to detail and logical thinking, ability to spot anomalies and question data. Advanced Microsoft Excel, experience with BI tools advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data clearly. Time management, able to work to strict deadlines. Benefits 25 days holiday plus declared public holidays.
