About the role: The Nursery Finance Administrator provides efficient financial and administrative support to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of a busy childcare setting. Working closely with the Nursery Management Team, the role focuses on invoicing, account management, record keeping and general office administration. Key responsibilities: Raise and manage nursery invoices and monitor parent accounts. Reconcile credit card transactions and support budget tracking. Order goods and services and maintain accurate financial and administrative records. Respond to parent and staff queries professionally and confidentially. Prepare newsletters, take meeting minutes and support parent meetings. Maintain nursery documentation, policies, website content and marketing materials. Support compliance activities, including inspection preparation. Requirements: GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths, or relevant experience. Experience in a busy administrative or office environment. Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer‑focused approach. Confident using Microsoft 365 and digital systems. Desirable: Experience of finance or budget monitoring. Experience within a nursery or childcare setting. Additional Info: Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for meetings or training. Appointment subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.
