Global Trade Compliance Analyst
• Location: Frimley - UK
• Function: Global Trade Compliance
This is an 18 month Fixed Term Contract position and candidate would ideally be available immediately
Overview:
The Trade Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the organization meets the requirements for importing/exporting goods in the region.

Primary Responsibilities:
7. Ensure that correct proof of origin is archived to support preferential trade agreements
8. Populating SAP system with correct data for import/export operations
9. Assist regional and global team in classifying products’ HTS codes
10. Compile records to substantiate country of origin claims
11. Audit import/export Customs documentation to ensure accuracy of records
12. Verify required corrective action is implemented for any inaccuracies found
13. Assist in execution of trade compliance processes as required
14. Assist in the execution of logistics projects as required
15. Communicate regularly with the import brokers/freight forwarders on open issues
16. Escalate serious or significant discrepancies immediately to the attention of the Manager
17. Other GTC related responsibilities as needed
Experience you’ll bring:
18. Graduate caliber
19. Experience of working on SAP System
20. Analytical skills necessary but what is essential is data interpretation
21. Knowledge of the complexities of moving products across borders: international freight, duties, custom brokers, freight forwarders, and ocean/air carriers
22. Proven import/export compliance experience with regional knowledge gained in practice
23. Excellent Excel skills
24. Knowledge of HTS, INCOTERMs, country of origin rules, import/export laws and regulations
25. A second European Language is a nice to have
26. Experience in basic automation such as creating macros in Excel.
