With this role you will be working on our CRM & Billing solution, introducing innovation for the billing of new digital energy services across the utilities market. Our Hybrid working policy allows you to flex between working in the office and your home location, with initial training required in office.
Responsibilities
* Deliver projects within the ESG portfolio to agreed Time/Cost/Quality/Scope targets, ensuring appropriate governance.
* Manage end‑to‑end delivery, including onboarding, integration, and migration of clients onto ESG products using a SaaS delivery model.
* Engage delivery services teams to plan delivery approach, adhere to quality frameworks, and ensure resourcing.
* Support pre‑sales estimating and scoping of opportunities, coordinating with Account and Service Delivery Managers.
* Manage stakeholder communication from project team to executive level, including steering committee governance.
* Lead and mentor Project Managers, providing coaching and potential line management.
* Produce accurate status, financial tracking, and invoicing reports for projects and direct reports.
* Facilitate workshops, manage ambiguities in innovative change, and resolve escalated delivery issues.
* Maintain and improve project delivery lifecycle framework, processes, and templates.
* Promote lessons learned sharing across the team and monitor baselines to prevent revenue leakage.
* Identify additional sales opportunities in collaboration with business development.
* Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ relevant project management experience, customer facing.
* Experience in business case definition, benefits management, and return‑on‑investment focus.
* Proven delivery of first‑of‑type projects and governance models.
* Experience with SaaS or off‑the‑shelf software deliveries.
* Familiarity with best‑practice project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
* Track record of delivering large projects or programmes in a commercial environment.
* Experience managing stakeholders at all levels and building diverse delivery teams.
* Ownership of project/programme budgets above £500k or 1,000 man‑days.
* Strong customer (internal/external) experience delivery.
* Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with high customer satisfaction.
* Proficiency with PM tools, MS Project, SharePoint, and timesheet systems such as Netsuite.
* Willingness to travel UK and potentially globally.
* Knowledge of software development and implementation lifecycle, waterfall and agile.
Education & Certifications
* PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner.
* Managing Successful Programmes Foundation and Practitioner (desirable).
* Agile Project Management Delivery qualification (desirable).
