Stock Controller
Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and experienced in inventory management?
Join the team at Allvalves, a leading UK distributor and manufacturer of valve and actuation products. We're looking for a reliable Stock Controller to oversee and manage our inventory processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and smooth daily operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring and managing stock levels using Sage 200.
* Recording all stock movements – goods in/out, transfers, and adjustments.
* Performing regular stock checks, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate records.
* Liaising with purchasing and sales teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
* Ensuring all deliveries are received, checked, and stored properly.
* Supporting the warehouse team with organisation, cleanliness, and compliance.
* Maintaining accurate GRNI (Goods Received Not Invoiced) records.
What We're Looking For:
Experience in a stock control or warehouse environment.
* Strong IT skills, with experience using Sage 200 (or similar ERP system).
* Attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
* Good communication skills and a team player mindset.
* Ability to manage time and prioritise in a busy environment.
* Forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
Desirable Experience:
Working within an ISO 9001:2015-compliant environment.
* Knowledge of valves, actuators, or engineering components.
* Previous experience with Sage 200.
