We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to join their service team. This is a great opportunity to be the face of our client, providing essential engineering support and building strong relationships at a key customer site in Kilmarnock. The Purpose of the Role:
As our Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring their customer's machinery operates at peak performance. You will deliver a first-class engineering service through corrective and preventative maintenance. Your broad technical knowledge and excellent customer-facing skills will be key to maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform methodical diagnosis, repair, and testing of electromechanical equipment to achieve a speedy first-time fix on all breakdowns.
Conduct planned and preventative maintenance in strict accordance with OEM requirements.
Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory, and all service reports.
Ensure full compliance with all CPS and customer Health & Safety regulations at all times.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the customer, acting as a representative of our client in daily interactions and meetings.
Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for service, reliability, and performance improvements.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Experience):
Educated to a Mechanical/Electrical Degree, Diploma level, Apprenticeship is essential
Strong PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
An electrical qualification is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A highly professional, flexible, and positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
