We are seeking a Collections Analyst to join our embedded accounting team within the Global Trade agriculture business. In this vital role, you will take ownership of the Accounts Receivable ledger, ensuring accurate reporting and timely resolution of outstanding issues. Paying a key role in the Accounts Receivable ledger your day-to-day will involve active participation in credit control activities, securing necessary approvals, and providing critical insights to support informed decision-making ensuring outstanding issues are escalated to the relevant next level in the organisation, working closely with the Trading Team to facilitate their order release activities. Key Responsibilities Collections Analyst: Contact overdue customers by email or phone Process and review account adjustments Resolve client discrepancies and short payments Support customers in cases of missing or incorrect invoices, quality claim, etc. Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales department regarding customer accounts on a timely basis Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with traders and sales Documenting the steps taken in the collection system GetPaid Preparing the weekly report for the assigned unit Support projects relevant to collections Any other reasonable duties as requested by business managers. Personal specification Collections Analyst: Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Good communication and team working skills Ability to prioritise and manage multiple responsibilities Assertive, target-driven and autonomous work approach Commitment to excellent customer service Basic accounting knowledge esp. of billing and collections procedures will be an advantage Relevant working experience in international agricultural business or in a collection agency is desirable Banking, commercial or administrative apprenticeship or comparable Excellent language skills in English, other languages are considered as a plus ADZN1_UKTJ
