Welding Supervisor – Flint
Recruit4staff is representing a well‑established engineering and fabrication business seeking a Welding Supervisor to work in Flint. The role includes leading and supervising all shop floor personnel, planning production schedules, and driving continuous improvement to increase output and reduce waste.
* Pay: £45,000 per annum (bonus scheme)
* Hours of Work: 40 hours per week (08:00 – 16:30)
* Duration: Permanent

Job Role: The Welding Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing shop floor personnel, monitoring productivity, ensuring quality standards, enforcing H&S procedures, overseeing equipment maintenance, managing production records, and supporting staff and apprentice development.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
* Proven experience (5+ years) in steel fabrication or metalworks and previous supervisory experience.
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Welding, Fabrication or related discipline, plus relevant safety and welding certifications.
* Strong knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GMAW/MIG, FCAW, TIG) and common workshop machinery.
* Excellent leadership, communication, planning, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to read technical drawings.
* Basic IT skills including MS Office; AutoCAD experience is advantageous.

Piping Supervisor – Deeside
Recruit4staff is representing an established engineering business seeking a Piping Supervisor to work in Deeside. The role involves overseeing on‑site piping installation activities and managing a team of 6-7 personnel.
* Pay: £30–£33 per hour (CIS)
* Hours of Work: Mon – Thu 08:00 – 16:30, Fri 08:00 – 14:00
* Duration: Temporary (Expected length 5–6 weeks)
Job Role: The Piping Supervisor will supervise a team of pipefitters, welders and general operatives, ensuring safe, efficient work and high workmanship standards in stainless steel piping installations.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a Piping Supervisor or Welding Supervisor on a similar on‑site environment.
* NVQ Level 3 in Pipefitting or Mechanical Engineering.
* SSSTS or SMSTS.
* CSCS Supervisor Card.
* CCNSG Safety Passport or ECITB Safety Passport.
* IOSH Managing Safely.
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
* Experience supervising stainless steel piping installation projects.
Additional Information:
* The position is a temporary contract expected to last approximately 5–6 weeks.
* The successful candidate will manage site personnel and coordinate daily piping activities.
