Green Pebble publishes artwork, often by some of East Anglia’s leading artists, as greeting cards and gifts. Our cards are sold all over the country, the USA, Australia and to a few other countries abroad. We are a small but bustling family company, employing 14 people in the office as well as several sales agents (in the UK and abroad) and licence the works of art of scores of artists. There is a friendly atmosphere in the office, which is located just outside Beccles, Suffolk and has plenty of parking available.
Candidate Requirements
* have a friendly and positive attitude
* be a self-starter with an organised and disciplined approach to work
* enjoy art and communicating with people by telephone
* have strong experience of working with computerised systems
* be an excellent communicator in both written and verbal English
* live locally
* have previous sales/customer facing experience
Responsibilities
* Daily telephone calls to existing customers, chatting about new art and helping customers place orders online.
* Sending samples and sales aids to customers and agents.
* Daily sales review and eventually helping set sales strategy.
On the job training will be provided and all duties will be performed in the office in Beccles, working with a director of the company. Once settled, some duties may be done from home.
Benefits and Compensation
* Permanent part time employment.
* Negotiable hours, but not less than 16 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays.
* Pay according to experience, but in the region of £33,000 pa (full time equivalent or £16/hr) plus an OTE bonus to be agreed.
