About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Events AV Technician to be a key part of our London team, representing proAV and working onsite. This position is based within our end user’s organisation who continue to invest in state-of-the-art technologies, services, and training. This is an opportunity for an exceptional, experienced Events AV Technician to join an established operation with scope to drive and enhance the service at every opportunity. Experience and seniority of the position will be reflected by the remuneration and benefits package.
Key Responsibilities
* End User Support.
* Event setup and support.
* Provide accurate technical advice when required in collaboration with proAV technical teams.
* Carry out detailed regular room checks.
* Meeting room support for VIPs.
* Coordinate software/firmware upgrades.
* Provide technical support to AV/VC users.
* Support video conference calls including liaison with remote offices for setup and running of video conferences (technologies include Prime Video / Intercall / Blue Jeans and WebEx).
* Assist/manage all ads/moves/changes (small works) onsite.
* Ensure changes are implemented seamlessly as per the requirement with minimal business impact.
* Ensure users are trained in the operation of AV/VC technologies deployed to site.
* Monitor the quality of the services delivered via the technology deployed.
* Undertake manufacturer training courses as appropriate to maintain knowledge base.
Hours of Work
40 hours per week, 9 hours a day on a rotational shift basis between 7am-7pm, including an hour unpaid break, Monday-Friday.
