Wild Solutions is pioneering a bold and ambitious response to the Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) legislation. We’re not just offsetting nature loss; we’re setting the gold standard for high-integrity habitat restoration that benefits both wildlife and communities. Our first two BNG habitat banks are already making an impact, and we’re now looking to rapidly scale this work across the county.

As our Sales and Business Growth Manager, you’ll be joining Wild Solutions at the heart of a rapidly evolving market, developing new partnerships, shaping investment in nature, making usthe go-to provider for developers and landowners alike. You’ll combine sales expertise with strategic foresight to build a thriving nature-based economy that delivers for people and planet.
This is a rare opportunity to lead in an emerging sector, influencing how businesses value nature and accelerating investment in ecological recovery.
In this role you’ll
* Lead Growth: Drive a commercial strategy that grows our market presence, expands our habitat bank portfolio, and increases revenue to reinvest in nature.
* Forge Partnerships: Build and manage high-value relationships with developers, ecologists, planners, and public sector partners, positioning Wild Solutions as their trusted expert in BNG delivery.
* Shape the Market: Build compelling, commercially viable propositions that inspire confidence and action from clients.
* Influence Strategy: Use market insight and client feedback to shape future service offerings, inform our land strategy, and influence how BNG is understood and implemented locally.
* Champion Excellence: Promote Wild Solutions’ gold standard approach that sees our experts excelfrom habitat design to long-term management, ensuring every deal delivers meaningful benefits for biodiversity.
* Enable Change: Support capacity-building within our teams and networks, enabling others to play their part in nature recovery through strategic sales, training, and thought leadership
To be successful you'll bring
* Proven success in sales, commercial strategy or business development, ideally with experience in environmental, property or planning sectors.
* Confidence to work in an emerging and evolving market, with the curiosity and agility to lead through uncertainty.
* Strong grasp (or a fast learner’s mindset) of environmental markets like BNG, ecosystem services, or natural capital.
* A strategic thinker with the ability to build lasting, values-aligned client relationships.
* Excellent communication skills, able to simplify technical ideas and inspire action.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strong reporting and CRM skills.
* Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to meaningful environmental outcomes.

This role will be based at our office in Middleton although a balance of home and office working will be allowed. We are a local charity so applicants should be easily able to access our office and other locations around the county.
