Retail Development Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Lead retail development refits, collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders to deliver layouts and ranges aligned with segmentation strategy.
* Manage retail partnerships to deliver ranges, promotions, and innovation projects.
* Negotiate trade agreements with manufacturers to secure rebates in line with segmentation strategy.
* Drive category management, delivering planograms and conducting bi-annual range reviews.
* Work with the Head of Retail Central to ensure optimum retail pricing.
* Analyse promotions and initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Retail Central.
* Develop unmanned retail solutions to complement the FX network.
* Deliver retail templates across all Mobility divisions.
* Conduct in-store visits to support store development implementation.
* Be accountable for ROCE (Return on Capital Employed) on all store refit projects.
* Be accountable for PBIT (Profit Before Interest and Tax) uplift from promotional activity.
* Liaise with the Marketing Manager to ensure correct customer messaging on projects and promotional activities.
* Keep all internal and external stakeholders regularly informed of project status.
* Ensure projects are signed off from a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) perspective, working with HSE Business Partners.
* Promote a positive health and safety culture in line with “Safety First” principles.
Key Requirements
* Experienced retail professional with a first-class understanding of the industry.
* Preferably experienced with a major retail brand.
* Strong ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a proactive team.
* Excellent IT skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and confident use of Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Diplomatic approach when managing conflicting priorities.
* Highly motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
* Influential and financially astute.
* Educated to degree level (preferred).
