The role:
Our client really has achieved serious growth over the last few years and need someone to join the existing team of 3 marketers, who can drive & improve their content, across all platforms. You’ll be targeting B2B customers and suppliers as well as working on internal comms and employee engagement. You’ll need to be capable of collaborating and engaging at every level and being able to see different perspectives of the business.
Your duties will be broad and you’ll be involved with planning, writing and scheduling social media, blogs, video content, newsletters as well as working to create visually striking content. You’ll lead the creation of case studies, whitepapers and industry insights and will regularly update the website using WordPress, and there will also be some drafting of press releases. Naturally, you’ll undertake research business relevant and interesting topics and find engaging angles for your content creation and curation, and you’ll take a keen interest in developing tone of voice.
You’ll proof read and edit comms for accuracy and will also work with the rest of the marketing team and HR from supporting with recruitment content to organising inhouse events. You’ll also liaise heavily with the sales team – marketing is very much lead generation focussed within the business.
What we’re looking for:
We need someone of graduate calibre with a relevant degree who has gained at least 2 years’ experience. You’ll have a real creative spark You must have relevant experience of delivering visual content and communicating complex messaging to various audiences and experience of delivering a range of content styles from written film and graphical content. You’ll be able to copywrite and proofread with a keen eye for detail and you’ll have strong organisational skills.
Experience from within a b2b environment would be beneficial but not essential. You’ll have experience of planning, writing, and scheduling creative content for a range of social media platforms and will enjoy keeping up with the latest trends. Experience of Canva and Adobe Suite would also be really useful.
What’s on Offer?
Salary for the role is between £32-40,000 and this will very much depend on experience. Additionally, there is free parking a 5-minute walk from the office, which is just outside the city centre, contributory pension, life assurance.
