Job Summary

The Manager – Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) improves systems and processes, through the application of continuous improvement measures and oversight of the company management system. The Manager supports the development and implementation of QHSE programs and principles.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities

* Provides support services to operations through the application and implementation of company QHSE programs and principles.

* Monitors incidents, audits, management of change, corrective actions, and behavior-based safety data to assure accuracy of information.

* Demonstrates proactive, professional visible leadership and commitment to company values.

* Manages QHSE resources to monitor regulatory, contractual and industry QHSE standards/requirements against company requirements and recommend improvements.

* Recommends proactive actions that support achievement of company and customer QHSE targets.

* Monitors the management, maintenance, and implementation of HSE Cases and QHSE bridging documents.

* Serves as the Management System Custodian and engages organizational leaders to ensure consistency of requirements across the company.

* Monitors tender and contract support activities to ensure consistent and accurate submission of information.


Qualifications and Experience

* Bachelor’s degree (required).

* Minimum 8 years of experience in HSE with a minimum of 2 years if management experience.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.


Skills and Experience

* In-depth knowledge of Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems and auditing of same.

* Detailed knowledge of incident analysis and root cause techniques.

* Ability to gather and analyze/synthesize data, confirming its accuracy and adequacy.

* Demonstrated effective leadership and influencing skills and practices.

* General knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, and procurement systems.

* Physically capable of traveling and working in an offshore environment.

* Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office 365 platform and associated tools.

* Strong working knowledge of document control and records management systems.

* Strong working knowledge of Quality Control and Assurance principles
