An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead housing solutions. Community Connections are seeking a dynamic, forward‑thinking Head of Housing Solutions to shape the future of Statutory Homelessness services, including Homelessness Prevention, the Housing Register, Temporary Accommodation, Asylum Seekers and Refugees and Gypsy, Roma and Travellers. This is a pivotal leadership role and needs someone with the leadership qualities to support and lead a high performing team whilst driving further improvements.
The appointment comes at a time that Homelessness is high on everyone’s agenda including Plymouth City Council. There is a national housing crisis and spend on emergency accommodation is at an all‑time high. Plymouth has a set of delivery plans to support service improvement across the system and this role is key to driving that work. The role demands strategic vision, partnership building, and operational excellence, working closely with local, regional and national partners to drive homelessness prevention, support for the most vulnerable in society and equity in housing.
