About the Role An opportunity has arisen to join our IT Applications Liquidlogic team developing our social care applications specifically LiquidLogic LCS and EHM. We provide a professional, proactive and responsive IT service to end users of our suite of Liquidlogic Applications. We are looking for an experienced IT Application Lead looking for the next stage in their career to oversee the development, continuous improvement and 4 th line support of our Children's Services Liquidlogic applications primarily our LCS and EHM systems. This role will specifically involve engagement with Directors, Assistant Directors and Heads of Service within Social Care, Business Change and IT Services leading the technical development and transformation program throughout the DFE s Families First Programme of change and beyond. The key responsibilities within this role include c ollaboration with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of new workflows and processes and developing and enforcing best practices and standards for application development and management. You will create Business Cases, produce Project Plans and Financial Statements, Risk Management Plans, Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement reports. Within the technical team you will provide high level technical guidance, tailored training and mentorship to team members and delegating appropriately whilst working closely with the Applications Support Manager. Your main place of work will be the award-winning, modern Civic Centre in Keynsham, halfway between Bath and Bristol, easily accessible via car or public transport, with a train station 5 minutes walk away. We operate a flexible working policy in Bath & North East Somerset with the option to work at other sites or at home 4 days per week with our office day each Monday for team working. About You A good understanding of Children's Social Care and experience of supporting and developing the LiquidLogic product is essential, along with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices and be customer focused with s trong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively using your initiative and have a passion for identifying opportunities for process improvements. You will have strong business skills and work in an Agile Framework with colleagues in the Business Change Department. You will have demonstratable collaboration and customer service skills able to deliver clear and precise communications to a senior audience. Candidates should demonstrate they are familiar with strong change management processes and be able to lead on Transformation Programmes in the relevant work streams.
