Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a HR Transition Lead for a contract until 26th June 2026 with possible extension on an annual salary equivalent of £74,280 (pro-rata).
Responsibilities:
- The HR Transition Lead will provide senior HR advice and guidance to executive leaders and the project team.
- Working alongside an established HR team, and Head of HR, they will quickly establish themself as a trusted advisor, providing best practice and justifiable employment advice.
- We require someone who can work flexibly, think on their feet, and ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to, with the ability to create processes where they don't yet exist.
Essential Skills:
- CIPD qualified.
- Proven experience and success in:
- Providing sound advice in relation to complex HR issues;
- Operating at board level;
- Implementing structural changes for an organisation/ directorate/ organised work group of circa 100 people;
- A sound understanding of employment law.
- Able to:
- Quickly gain the trust of senior stakeholders and HR professionals, due to the credibility of HR advice provided;
- Operate autonomously;
- Understand detailed policies and be able to translate them into simple language for non HR people;
- Create HR and OD process where they don't currently exist, in line with existing policy;
- Develop employee and managerial information packs and training.
Desirable Skills:
- Public sector experience.
- A HRBP background would be advantageous, but is not essential.
